Description: The interactive installation "Body of Memory" is my diploma project. It is an interactive table surface which allows interaction of multiple users simultaneously. The project was realised by me and two fellow students. My main part was the interface design which included also building the table and "making it work". The project was developed in collaboration with the Hyperwek in Basel, Switzerland. Hyperwerk is the institute for post industrial design at the University Of Applied Science North-Western Switzerland (FHNW). As part of this collaboration we made a workshop for Hyperwerk students where parts of the project where developed. The purpose of the installation is providing a intuitive and explorative way to learn about the institute Hyperwek and get an impression of its look and feel. We intentionally didn't developed a straigt forward to use database but focused on aspects such as playfulness, coincidence and curiosity.
